The Hero Club is still accepting toy donations for the Toy Drive.  Please donate!
Tomorrow, at long lunch, is the bake sale (run by Ms. Baxter's Advisory) that I mentioned in one of my previous posts.  All the money will be going to help the relief efforts and workers in the Philippines.  So be sure to bring your wallets and lots of money.

We have reached 300 page views!
Attention all readers, The Le Jardin Academy MS Newspaper Blog has just reached 250 pageviews!
The root beer float drive that Mr. Oliva's advisory had in order to gain money for the Red Cross in an effort to help the Philippines.  It was a blast.  We raised over $225!  Thank you to everybody who bought root beer floats.  Also, thank you for all the donations.  Some people were generous enough to donate $20!  They really helped.  Thank you all.  We ran out of ice cream within the first 5 minutes when we had started.  For those of you who did not get a root beer float, do not worry, we will be having another root beer float fundraiser and we will be sure to bring extra ice cream (although it may not be in the near future).  Also, Mrs. Baxter's advisory will be having a bake sale.  Check back later on for more details.  Au Hui Hou.

Halloween!

Hello, guys!  Tomorrow is Halloween, and to show off our school Halloween spirit we want everyone to wear their costumes to school!  The only caviot, you say?  The perametres are that the costume follows the school dress code, knee length bottoms, nothing suggestive, etc.  Also nothing bloody, profane, no weapons or anything that might resemble one, and you must be able to navigate the classrooms, do work, etc.  So have fun dressing up!  And have a spooky Halloween!!!

Hello, this just in.  The LJA homecoming pep rally between the Juniors and the seniors was just a few days ago.  The team that won the flag football game was the seniors.  Thank you to everyone that showed up at the game and supported their team!

I was at California Pizza Kitchen, and the manager was really nice a couple nights ago.  We got a free pizza because the chefs got the pizza wrong.  The manager's name is Saundra Cariaga.
At the last CPK fundraiser, she was a new manager, so she was still learning how the whole routine works.  The second fundraiser, though, she had the routine in the bag, all the chefs were pumped, food was flying out of the kitchen.  So spread the word, GO TO THE NEXT MONTHLY FUNDRAISER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

For information on the CPK Days' dates, times, etc, go to this link:
